The operations team includes the program director, curriculum design team and teachers who work across domains. They are the game changers in our classrooms who facilitate, guide and hugely impact the learning outcome of our children.
|Gayathri Tirthapura’s core interests lie in finding appropriate environments and methods to engage children in joyful learning, based on research in psychology, neuroscience and education. Her deep passion for education and her commitment to contribute back to her own people has been the driving force in her involvement with Tejasvita.
After spending a decade in the corporate sector building hi-technology products and managing teams, she made a career shift to education in 2005. She has worked with many educational organisations both in India and US, teaching children and building organisational/program capacities. She holds a Master of Science degree from Stanford University, USA and a Master of Education degree from Harvard University, USA. She is also the Founder and Director at Parent Musings Services which is focused on providing resources and tools for parents of 0 – 10 year children.
|Rewati Karmarkar is a post graduate in math and is passionate about teaching and learning. She enjoys working with younger children, exploring ways to make learning more meaningful and effective. She has worked with Tata Motors in their outbound logistics department and subsequently, following her passion for teaching and math, taught Quantitative Aptitude for aspirants for the CAT exam and has even taught preschool.
Tejasvita embodies three things that Rewati values- education, making a difference in the community and working with young children. It was a perfect match and she has been with us right from our inception.
|Brundha Manjunath is a counselor and a life skill trainer with Psychology and social work background.She identifies with the organization as she finds that Tejasvita, through its early intervention program, provides a great platform to achieve their common objective of enriching children’s lives. She is an optimist and an inspirer who gets immense pleasure in being a constant learner and a change agent at Tejasvita.|
|After a MBA in Marketing and Finance, Bindu Ajay worked with an MNC in the retail space for 7 years, before taking a break to do justice to her role as a full time mother. As her daughter started school, Bindu was looking for something meaningful to do and came to know of Tejasvita. Other than the opportunity to work with Children, the vision of the organization was what made her take this up.
Presently she is enjoying her stint here, since the environment is both friendly and stimulating. With the focused and regular training that she gets here, she feels she can hone her skills as a teacher and a parent, and also become a better human being.

She enjoys reading and going out on long walks.|
|Mythili Udupa holds a Bachelor degree in Art & Architecture from Bangalore University and is currently pursuing architecture as a freelance architect. She also holds a Bachelor degree in Carnatic classical music from Bangalore University. She is a passionate student and a dedicated coach of Carnatic classical music.
Tejasvita’s objective of giving early exposure to learning and intellectual growth by non-traditional method of teaching and providing children with appropriate stimuli to help them grow into independent and creative adults drew Mythili to be a facilitator at Tejasvita. Mythili is a keen learner, and is excited to integrate her architecture and music experiences into creative learning experience for the children.
|Vandana Dhavate was drawn to Tejasvita’s vision on identifying and nurturing talented children by providing high quality learning environment. Joining Tejasvita has enabled her to pursue her passion for facilitation, her interest in working with children and apply her creativity in developing their interest in learning.Vandana has prior experience in IT field, having worked in various software companies. She has also volunteered in primary schools. She is an Engineering graduate and also holds a post graduate Diploma in Advanced Computing. She is a gardener at heart and loves nature in all its glory.|
|Being a Commerce graduate and a Masters in Human Resources, Ambica Pradeepa has worked with an MNC for almost 9 years across Finance and Accounts and Supply Chain verticals before joining Tejasvita. Tejasvita’s goal to pick the best kids and nurture them to be leaders attracted her. She feels like a student who is learning a lot in life and would like to share this knowledge gained to make a difference in children’s life in the field of education.|
|Alka Argal holds a Masters degree in commerce and is certified in computers with DOEACC level computer course. Alka had been associated with teaching field in earlier days with a higher secondary school as an Accounts teacher for senior classes. She had worked in accounts department of a co-operating bank after computerization.Tejasvita’s vision has inspired Alka in getting associated with it and help in making a difference for bright future of younger kids. She looks forward to inspire, motivate and challenge kids with new ideas in learning sphere and build experience and new learning for self.|
|Sudha Amit strongly believes in alternative education space and sees it as a key to bring in positive change in the society. She has worked with grass root level NGOs as well as supported organizations in areas such as education, health and fundraising.She holds a Masters Degree in Social Science and a Diploma in Human Resource Management. She also holds a Diploma in Montessori education. Sudha is drawn towards Tejasvita’s vision to work with children from lower socio-economic background by providing alternate space for learning. She is here to contribute, to learn and to be part of the education movement.|
|Neeraja Ranganarasimhan is inclined to Tejasvita’s program of educating children through hands-on activities that lays strong foundation for their future learning. She feels working at Tejasvita gives her opportunity to pursue her passion of working with young children.She has a bachelor degree in commerce, a diploma in Montessori method of education (IMTC) and also a diploma in special education (KPAMRC). She has experience in teaching children.|
|Meenalochani Srinivasan discovered her passion for children and their all round well-being, after her son’s birth. The idea that a responsible, dedicated adult can mould a child’s life fascinated and drew her to Tejasvita.
For her, Tejasvita has been an outstanding learning experience. The supportive peer group and an academician’s approach to holistic learning are something she takes pride in.
Meena has an engineering degree from BITS Pilani and 6 years of experience in software career. After a blissful 2.5 years of motherhood, she thinks she has found her calling at Tejasvita.
|Divya R feels that Tejasvita is a place for her to work and fulfill her dreams as being with children is her ambition. This not only fulfills her dreams but also reflects on her lifestyle.
