The operations team currently includes the program development, evaluation, curriculum design and the teaching partners for the preschool classrooms. They are the game changers who facilitate, guide and hugely impact the learning outcomes of our children. We are a team of 23 passionate people who are out to make a difference in our communities!
|Gayathri Tirthapura’s core interests lie in finding appropriate environments and methods to engage children in joyful learning, based on research in psychology, neuroscience and education. Her deep passion for education and her commitment to contribute back to her own people has been the driving force in her involvement with Tejasvita.
After spending a decade in the corporate sector building hi-technology products and managing teams, she made a career shift to education in 2005. She has worked with many educational organisations both in India and US, teaching children and building organisational/program capacities. She holds a Master of Science degree from Stanford University, USA and a Master of Education degree from Harvard University, USA. She is also the Founder of Parent Musings which is focused on providing resources and tools for parents of 0 – 10 year children.
|Brundha Manjunath is a counselor and a life skill trainer with Psychology and social work background.She identifies with the organization as she finds that Tejasvita, through its early intervention program, provides a great platform to achieve their common objective of enriching children’s lives. She is an optimist and an inspirer who gets immense pleasure in being a constant learner and a change agent at Tejasvita.|
|After a MBA in Marketing and Finance, Bindu Ajay worked with an MNC in the retail space for 7 years, before taking a break to do justice to her role as a full time mother. As her daughter started school, Bindu was looking for something meaningful to do and came to know of Tejasvita. Other than the opportunity to work with Children, the vision of the organization was what made her take this up.
Presently she is enjoying her stint here, since the environment is both friendly and stimulating. With the focused and regular training that she gets here, she feels she can hone her skills as a teacher and a parent, and also become a better human being.
|Mythili Udupa holds a Bachelor degree in Art & Architecture from Bangalore University and is currently pursuing architecture as a freelance architect. She also holds a Bachelor degree in Carnatic classical music from Bangalore University. She is a passionate student and a dedicated coach of Carnatic classical music.
Tejasvita’s objective of giving early exposure to learning and intellectual growth by non-traditional method of teaching and providing children with appropriate stimuli to help them grow into independent and creative adults drew Mythili to be a facilitator at Tejasvita. Mythili is a keen learner, and is excited to integrate her architecture and music experiences into creative learning experience for the children.
|Alka Argal holds a Masters degree in commerce and is certified in computers with DOEACC level computer course. Alka had been associated with teaching field in earlier days with a higher secondary school as an Accounts teacher for senior classes. She had worked in accounts department of a co-operating bank after computerization.Tejasvita’s vision has inspired Alka in getting associated with it and help in making a difference for bright future of younger kids. She looks forward to inspire, motivate and challenge kids with new ideas in learning sphere and build experience and new learning for self.|
|With an engineering and management degree, Roopa Narayan has worked in the technology and IT product management space for more than 15 years across eLearning, mCommerce and financial services domains before she took a break to support family needs.
Tejasvita’s vision to provide early interventions and lay the foundation for a better future is the reason why Roopa is here. As a volunteer, she is now currently involved in measuring the learning outcomes of children in the preschool classrooms. She is keen to learn, enhance herself and make a difference in the lives of young children and also contribute towards community impact in the field of education.
